After spinning out of IBM-acquisition NS1, open source startup NetBox Labs raises $20M

NetBox Labs, an open-source network management startup, has raised $20 million in Series A funding to accelerate its growth.

NetBox Labs, an open-source network management and automation startup, recently secured $20 million in Series A funding following its spin-out from NS1, which was acquired by IBM. The funding round was led by Flybridge Capital and included participation from GGV Capital, Salesforce Ventures, and others. NetBox Labs, headquartered in New York City with a global remote workforce, aims to enhance network automation for companies managing complex networks.The company’s primary product, NetBox Cloud, offers an enterprise-grade SaaS version of the open-source NetBox, which is already widely used by organizations for network management. NetBox Labs plans to utilize the funds to scale the development and delivery of both NetBox and NetBox Cloud, leveraging their extensive open-source community to drive innovation and adoption. CEO Kris Beevers and co-founder Jeremy Stretch, both from NS1, lead the company alongside other former NS1 executives. The startup targets the growing network automation market, expected to reach $30 billion by 2028, by providing modern APIs and integrations for seamless network management and automation.
